Amanda started She's a Knockout in 2009. Working 9-5 in the corporate world, any time outside of the office was spent either outside or in the gym. Particularly interested in boxing/kickboxing at the time, Amanda was generally the only female participant in a class full of men.
The kickboxing gym had an intimidating vibe and although some women didn't mind it, she noticed very few women ever came along.
Determined to introduce women to the health and fitness benefits (and fun!) of boxing in a friendly environment, she started outdoor boxing groups specifically for women to build their confidence and become Knockouts both physically and mentally. The classes were popular and participants soon started asking about personal training. And so the business evolved!
As a mother of an active young son and baby girl, motivator and personal fitness expert, Amanda has a unique connection with her clients. Before she began running marathons and coaching sports teams, Amanda was far from Knockout fit. Through years of fitness training and researching training techniques, Amanda has designed programs specifically for women to cut body fat, dramatically increase fitness levels and sculpt long lean muscles.
Helping people transform their lives is the biggest reward for Amanda whose clients reach their goals quickly through fun fresh workouts.
