Amanda started She’s a Knockout in 2009 with one goal in mind:
to help women feel better about themselves, inside and out. Growing up, she struggled with her weight and body confidence. She loved being active (and tried just about every sport!), but she didn’t understand nutrition, even though her mum was an ace cook (love you, Mum!). Her teen years and early twenties were filled with frustration about the body she felt “stuck” in. In her mid-twenties, Amanda discovered the gym and running - and everything changed. As her body grew stronger, her confidence did too. While training for her first marathon, she began to truly understand food as fuel, and how the right nutrition could power her energy, mood, and performance. At the time, she was working full-time in Sydney’s corporate world, squeezing in gym sessions on lunch breaks and long runs around a busy 9–5 schedule. But life took a new turn when she began facing infertility challenges, eventually being diagnosed with PCOS. It was a long, emotional journey that gave her a deeper understanding of how physical and mental health intertwine. Now, as a mum of two active kids, Amanda brings empathy and real-life experience to every client she works with. She knows what it feels like to battle with body image, to juggle a busy life, and to want to feel strong, confident, and comfortable in your own skin. Driven by her passion to help women feel their best, Amanda created She’s a Knockout - a personal training service designed for women, by a woman who’s been there. Her programs focus on cutting body fat, boosting fitness, and building long, lean strength - but most importantly, on helping women feel powerful and proud of their bodies. Helping women transform their lives is what drives her every day. Her clients reach their goals quickly through fun, fresh, and realistic workouts that fit into real life - because fitness should lift you up, not wear you down. |
