Karen’s desire to become a Personal Trainer started following a career working in Marine Science and Environmental Management.
Marrying health and fitness, career, a young family and a desire for a better life balance led her to complete her Personal Trainer qualifications 9 years ago. She has a passion and commitment to helping others reach their fitness goals. She loves working with clients one on one to improve their functional movement patterns, flexibility, cardio and total body strength, or to train for ‘that’ challenge that they've always said they wanted to do. She also enjoys running small group fitness classes such as HIIT, cardio kick boxing classes or circuit sessions with varied body weight exercises and resistance training. Karen stays fit through strength training and trail bike riding. She finds signing up for challenges or setting your own fitness goals, such as training for a fun run, bike ride or improving your deadlift weight are all great ways to stay on task and motivate yourself to commit to working out as part of your weekly routine. |
