Have you always wanted to be a runner (or at least have the ability to run a few kms) but don't know where to start? We can help! If you've ever wanted to learn to run, this is for you! Our friendly running trainer will teach you all you need to know to get you off the couch and onto the track. Enjoy training outdoors at beautiful Lake Monger with other ladies looking to get fit and learn to run. No judgement here - we will support and encourage you every step of the way to do the best you can. You don't need to be fit to join - it's all about making a start and having a go :) -- Group number limited to ensure everyone has a great experience --
Structure These classes are designed for beginners, so will start at a beginner level. Initially classes will focus on interval training to improve general running fitness. Throughout the run there will be frequent breaks where you will work on a combination of general body weight exercises and other cardio exercises to improve overall fitness. As the weeks progress, the intervals for running will increase, as will the speed. General interval training will be a main focus of the group to improve fitness, however, specific running drills (i.e. Fartlek) will also be covered.
